Einsame Menschen

In Felicia Zeller's rewriting of Hauptmann's play, young people from the city seek happiness in the countryside. Based on the motif of longing for nature, I composed five romantic vocal pieces for the ensemble, which unfold as poetic points of reflection over the course of the evening. As an acoustic extension of the stage design I also created various atmospheres between picturesque landscape and apocalyptic destruction.
