Toni and Tony live in a long-distance relationship and share every moment by phone, so the entire film is ultimately also a phone call – the connection between the two is acoustic throughout. Accordingly, I wanted to compose a film score from voices and synthesized various forms of humming into instruments, which accompany and complement voice recordings. There were also scene-specific pieces such as a pop song on the radio or lounge music for the intrusive hotel scenery.
